Create Effective Meta Tags

Search Engines can find every web page in your website by the keywords that you applied in the Meta Tags. Now Google not crawl and index your web page by only using keywords or meta tags. But it also uses your title's page as well. However many search engines generally use meta tags to find your each page. So the best way to do, we should apply both keywords in meta tag and title's page.

How many number of Keywords We Should Use In Meta Tags

Most of webmasters always lose their sleep because of wondering how many keywords they should use in the meta tags on a web page and they don't care too much about its density. They just put many many keywords as possible in a page. It's not only poor SEO friendly but also can get penalty from Google as well. So to avoid this problem, you should not use too many keywords (or keyphrases) on a page, it will reduce the keyword density for each of those keywords. Just only a few keywords, but build many backlinks to them. That's it!

As we told you already, content is a king in a website and Google really loves text. Of course, each page needs to have a high quality article or other "keyword rich" content on it to rank well in the search engines. So when you create a page, you should choose the best keyword first and then apply to your page.

Example: If your page talks about "How to plant roses" so page's title should be "How to plant roses" and page's header "Tips to plant roses". Then keyphrase should be "how to plant roses" and "tips to plant roses" and keyword should be "rose" or "plant roses" or "tips of roses". But we recommend use only the keyphrase, because people always search start from "how to...".

Title: should be reach to maximum 60 characters is better. It's should be like this: "Plant Roses | How to plant roses | Tips to plant roses"

Description: The maximum number of characters for this Tag is 150.

Keyword: You can use many keywords as you want while the maximum number of characters for this Tag is 1,000. But we recommend don't use this entire allowance, because you will face the problem of getting penalty from search engines by keeping your page as a spam.

So the exactly number of keywords we should use in meta tags of a page is as low as 1 and as high as 15. If your web page is a new one, please try to use only a few keywords is enough. And then try to find backlink to these keywords. Example if you have 2 keywords and you can find 10 backlinks, you have to divide backlinks to two groups, 5 for each keyword.

Note: Using a few keywords helps each individual word get a higher priority in the search engine.
